Rules of CBSE for unfair conduct of actions by students
Students who are later found out of having made wrong statements or provided misrepresentations in their application forms for examinations, The Board will take immediate action by removing such students from their roll registers and will be considered as ineligible for taking any of the CBSE examinations in future. If such students have already undertaken examinations their results will be void or non declared.
Students who make false statements will not be able to claim any refunds of fees upon cancellation of their examination applications.
If it is proven that students has tampered with their certificates or statement indicating marks, such actions will be considered by the board as unfair means and thereby student results will be canceled with immediate effect.
Students are not supposed to write any identification comments in the answer block other than their respective roll numbers. A student having mentioned their name or having put his/her signature will lose their examination result for conduct of unfair means.
- Students who practice unauthorized actions during examinations will be declared as having used Unfair Means in the result sheet. Such actions are considered to be:
- Keeping in their possession text books, notes or any material containing information pertaining to the examination.
- Assisting other students in their answers or soliciting assistance from others.
- Providing answers in any other paper than the answer book which is handed by the CBSE for the purpose of writing down student answers.
- Tearing off or damaging papers of the answer book or the supplement answer book.
- Trying to communicate with out side persons during the course of examinations and conducting conversations with persons another than supervising staff in the examination center.
- Attempting to take the answer book out of the examination hall.
- Using any other unauthorized unspecified means relating to unfair means in undertaking examinations.
- Students are not allowed to smuggle question papers or answer sheets and attempting to do so will be considered as unfair means.
- Threatening or arguing with examination officials regarding conduct of examinations.
Students who practice unfair means will be debarred from appearing in any CBSE conducted examination from a period of 1 year to 5 years depending on the nature of his unfair means conduct. If a student is deemed to have attempted a serious offensive conduct, such students will be permanently debarred from taking Board examination.
