General conditions for CBSE examinations

All examinations conducted by CBSE will be as per schedule authorized by Chairman of the Board. Controller of examination will be responsible for setting up a draft for examination centers. Board Chairman will review and approve proposed examination centers subject to amendments or additions.

Examinations of CBSE are held only at examination centers coming under the purview of the Board and approved by same. All examination papers will be scheduled on Indian standard time.

During the period of examinations, all furniture of affiliated schools will be made available for the Board to facilitate conducting of examinations and for paper markings. There will be no payment made to affiliated schools for the time period in which school furniture are put at their disposal. The Head of each affiliated school and staff will be mandated to assist Board officers in conducting examinations and in carrying out paper markings.

All affiliated schools are required to provide services of teachers during the conduct of examinations and also during evaluation of student scripts
