Payment of fees for CBSE examinations
Students should pay all applicable examination fees to the CBSE in full to take on any examination. Such fees will be reviewed and changed at the discretion of the board from time to time.
- For students undertaking examinations through an affiliated school will have to pay their respective examination fees to the school. The full amount for all candidates applying from a particular school will be collected from the affiliated school thereon.
- Affiliated schools and all private candidates from out side Delhi are requested to remit their examination fees by Bank Draft to the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education on Account Payee only. For schools and private candidates from Delhitheir payment modes will be specified by the Board as they deem fit from time to time.
- Fees other than examination fees specified by CBSE can be paid to the respective regional office. Cash payments are also accepted and regional offices are empowered to issue pertaining receipts for same. Alternatively students can make other payments also via bank draft to the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education on Account Payee only. Money orders will not be accepted by the Board unless clear details including student name, roll number and other relevant particulars are given. Money orders has to be remitted in the name of applying student only and not names of guardians or parents.
