What is the student admission procedure of CBSE affiliated schools?

All affiliated schools will maintain a register for students in the prescribed format indicating their respective school entered such as Government concerned, Navodoya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya etc.

Students will be allocated an enrolment number on admission and should keep track of this number through out school education. If a student leaves school for a considerable time of period and return in order to resume studies he will continue on the previous enrollment number.

Students who apply for admission in any affiliated school and have previously studied in any other school have to submit a copy of his transfer certificate to include his name in the student admission register.

The transfer certificate will not qualify a student to be admitted for any Class higher than the one specified as being entitled.

Students will not have the option of transferring from one affiliated school to another during the course of session if their names have already been submitted for Board Examinations. Such transfers can only be executed if the student is able to obtain CBSE Chairman Approval depending on valid circumstances.

Students who intend to move in to another affiliated school will receive their original transfer certificate from the previous school provided they have paid all school fees and other dues. Copies will only be provided if the head of the Institute is assured that request is valid due to loss of original certificate. However, all copies will be duly marked as copies of original.

If it is found out at any time that students or relevant guardians/ parents have submitted misleading information or incorrect facts regarding student educational career, the principal of affiliated school have the right to take immediate punishment action and inform CBSE accordingly.
