CBSE Affiliated schools- specific admission requirements
- All student admission for Class VIII and below is regulated by the pertaining rules and regulations and order of the State or UT Government pertaining to the location of relevant school.
- Admission in to Class IX will be possible only for students who have successfully completed Class VIII term end examinations and it should be from an affiliated schoolof CBSE. Alternatively it could be a recognized educational institute of Education Department of the Government of UT or State where the institute is located.
- Admission into Class X directly will not be possible at any of the affiliated schools as normal syllabus which is prescribed at Secondary level comprise of a two year intergraded study program. Only students who meet with the following criteria will be admitted directly in to Class X in any affiliated school.
I. Student should have undertaken regular course of studies in Class IX and should have
II. Passed Class IX examination conducted by any affiliated institution of the CBSE
- If a student has previously passed regular course of studies in Class IX in any recognized institution or affiliated school of other educational Boards in operation in the country other than CBSE, such students will only be granted admission to a CBSE affiliated school if student’s parents are transferred on official capacity. Even then students will have to submit transfer certificates duly endorsed by relevant educational authorities of the respective Board along with student mark sheets for last examination.
- Admission in Class XI will be on fulfilling the following criteria
I.Successful pass in Class X Secondary school examination conducted by CBSE
II. Successful pass in an equivalent examination recognized by the Board of Secondary Education or IndianUniversityand endorsed by the Board as being equivalent level examinations.
- Admission in Class XII will be on fulfilling the following criteria only as direct admission is not possible for class XII students.
I. Provided the student has already completed another regular study program equivalent to Class XI
II. Has already passed XI examination from any affiliated school or institute of the CBSE
III. If a student has previously passed regular course of studies in Class IX in any recognized institution or affiliated school of other educational Boards in operation in the country other than CBSE, such students will only be granted admission to a CBSE affiliated school if student’s parents are transferred on official capacity. Even then students will have to submit transfer certificates duly endorsed by relevant educational authorities of the respective Board along with student mark sheets for last examination.
